As we begin to welcome members back for in-person worship, please adhere to the following safety guidelines:
- Members who are not vaccinated are encouraged to continue to participate via livestream especially those who fall in the vulnerable populations ( individuals 65 or older and/or individuals with underlying health conditions).
- Registration is required for attendance in person. Capacity is limited to allow for social distancing.
- No one with a fever or symptoms of COVID-19 or known exposure to a COVID-19 case in the prior 14 days is permitted to attend.
- Everyone two years and older should wear a face covering for the entire service and while on church property, except those with medical reasons which prevent them from wearing one. Proper wearing of a mask means covering nose to chin.
- Enter the Sanctuary via the Main Doors and follow the directions of the Hospitality Team and Ushers, which includes check-in and a temperature check.
- Members are encouraged to use the hand sanitizer stations that are located at the entrances.
- Nothing (bulletins, offering plate or communion) is distributed during service. Place offering in box at the back of the church or give online.
- Seating is adapted to allow for six feet between you and others sitting on your pew. Attendees are escorted to their seats by an usher. We would like to keep movement within the church to a minimum, but restrooms are available should you need them.
- Everyone should maintain a six-foot separation out of care for each other wherever possible while on church property.
- Communion is held on the first Sunday of the month. Individually-wrapped packages are safely set out on tables for attendees to pick-up on their way into the service.
- Children's Church will not be held during this phase of Reopening but children are welcome to attend. Children over 5 years old will need to be registered.
- At the end of service, please remain in your seat until directed by the ushers.
Registering for in-person worship means that I agree to the safety guidelines as developed by the ZMC Reopening Task Force.
